Full-Time position - working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
About Us
Our purpose-built daycare and kindergarten centre in Waterford offers innovative early learning programs in a safe, nurturing environment. Our expansive outdoor environments provide ample space for children to explore and investigate at their own pace. We have three separate outdoor areas, making each area age-appropriate and appealing, featuring veggie gardens, a climbing fort, bikes, and open spaces for exploration. Our purpose-built indoor spaces include interactive whiteboards in the Kindergarten room, updated resources, and natural materials. Our long-standing team of early childhood educators creates a calm, comfortable environment where everyone feels like family. Children and educators enjoy community walks, excursions to nearby locations, and weekly visits to the local school library. We also regularly welcome special community guests, such as librarians, emergency services, and dancers.
At capacity our Centre caters for up to 60 children with operating hours from 6.15am to 6.15pm.
About You
- You will hold an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma Qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)
- An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Proven Educator experience within an early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A current Working with Children Check
- First Aid certificate
