The Opportunity

Join our dynamic Health and Safety team as a Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator and play a vital role in supporting our team members recovery journey. Under the guidance of our Injury Management Lead, this permanent full-time position offers a flexible work environment and the chance to join a team that is collaborative, engaging, hands-on, and most importantly - fun!


Your day-to-day
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing G8 Education’s Return to Work Program and supporting injured team members and their managers with a safe and sustainable return to work process. Some of the other duties are, but not limited to:

  • Drive the operational delivery of G8 Educations Rehabilitation and Return to Work Program.
  • Support the management of workers compensation and rehabilitation and return to work process in jurisdictions in which G8 Education operates, with a particular focus in QLD with an opportunity to develop knowledge in scheme.
  • Maintain knowledge of the different insurance schemes and of relevant legislation under the jurisdictions in which G8 Education operates
  •  Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in the injury management process, demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Implement early intervention strategies to support injured team members in returning to work promptly
  • Maintain accurate and up to date information within the injury management system
  • Participate in regular reviews of workers compensation claims
  • Travel to attend GP case conferences and visit centres to conduct return to work meetings.

About You

  • Experience as a Return-to-Work Coordinator or workers compensation Claims Manager
  • Experience across different state legislation is beneficial.
  • Return to Work Coordinator certification or training
  • Undergraduate Qualifications in Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy a related Allied Health discipline highly desirable
  • Current Driver’s licence
