About the role
Research shows a child’s first five years are crucial to all future learning and development formed through the interactions, experiences and relationships the child makes. That is why a child’s involvement in a quality early learning program is so important. This role is pivotal in creating a quality early learning environment through our teams of early learning educators, teachers and leaders who are uniquely placed to positively influence children’s futures.

Leading a diverse team of Area Mangers responsible for a portfolio of approximately 80 early childhood education centres across our NSW region (including Inner West, Eastern Suburbs, Paramatta, Sutherland Shire and Southern Highlands). You will be responsible for setting and leading a strategy that helps G8 achieve its goals in becoming families’ first choice in early childhood education and care. About you?
With demonstrated experience leading large and geographically dispersed high-performance teams and a track record of delivering results in a multi-site environment, we are looking for an optimistic, enthusiastic and values driven leader that has a curious mindset and care-based nature. With a can-do attitude, willingness to challenge the status quo and tenacity to succeed you will demonstrate agility to readily adapt to environments where priorities can change quickly.

You will have strong financial acumen and be commercially astute with proven success in meeting KPI’s and optimising/leading large-scale team and facility resources in high demand, regulated operational environments. To succeed you will need to build collaborative relationships across a range of stakeholders including Pedagogy, WH&S, Quality, HR and Finance who support your teams successfully meet their objectives.

Additionally, you will be solutions driven and being able to connect the dots for your team by implementing the building blocks of operational excellence you will create a stable and engaged team that delivers great outcomes for our families and children.
