We’re on the hunt for an experienced, passionate Cook to join our dynamic team at Community Kids Morley Childcare. You'll have the chance to create mouth-watering, nutritious meals and snacks that will fuel and delight our children every day.

This is a Part-Time role, offering 27.5 hours per week from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

About Us

Welcome to Community Kids Morley – the heart of early learning and daycare in the vibrant communities of Morley, Malaga, Noranda, Bayswater, Beechboro, and Caversham! Our centre offers a nurturing space for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, with both long day care and a kindergarten program designed to support the busy lives of local families. With extended hours, we’re here to make family life easier.

Our menus are carefully crafted to meet nutritional guidelines and provide the high-quality fuel young bodies need to thrive – physically, mentally, and emotionally. As part of our team, you’ll feel truly appreciated, valued, and immersed in a supportive, fun, and dynamic work culture.

At full capacity, we accommodate up to 60 children, with operating hours from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm.

About You

• Experienced in Menu planning, budgeting, stock ordering & control
• Experienced in dietary and allergy safe requirements. 
• Experienced in ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment in accordance with the relevant Food Safety regulations
• Be a Team Player with great communication and interpersonal skills
• Be available for set shift days and times Monday to Friday

Successful Applicants must hold

• A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an ACECQA approved Early Childhood qualification and experience in a cook role
• A current Working with Children’s Check and First Aid
• Completed or willing to complete Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
